Here in Mexico we pay about 2.6USD per gallon of gas, but that would be the regular unleaded gasoline that isn’t good for high profile cars. What I did was add a fuel-saving device that has provided me with 20% better mileage so far while making the gas burn more efficiently. This is no commercial so all I will say is that the same device in the US has a site called “powerplusgasoline”. Get informed and save before discarding gas saving technologies. Kudos to all the people who care. I CARE.

(continue) Even jumping the gears is a good tip too, since you don’t need any extra power in these conditions. Do the 1st one to make your car start moving without any difficulty. Then you can shift to the 3rd gear already and use the torque in your favor.

    The most important …
The most important thing to save fuel is to change gears when you really need to. Specially in long avenues, streets or roads, using your car engine’s torque properly can make you save up to 30% when you combine all these tips. For example: you don’t need to force your car’s engine to 3000 rpm when you’re driving in a plane/flat road. In this condition, changing your gear between 1000 and 2000 rpm is the best choice. I disagree about traveling at a high rate of speed, as long as you can safely maintain that speed and not accelerate or decelerate constantly, then you’ll likely have better fuel economy. These are experts????
