With oil prices rising, and fuel cost around $4 a gallon it can empty your wallet in a hurry! Luckily there is some proven research of people who applied these steps below, and tremendously increased their gas mileage.
These tips are so easy to follow; that your 90 year old grandmother can do it, and can make a huge difference in how much you spend on gas.
Oil additives can help improve your gas mileage by 10% and reduce harmful emissions. They repair, renew, and revitalize your engine which reduces the friction and increases your gas mileage.
- Driving at 60mph can increase your gas mileage. For every 5mph you drive over 60mpg you will be paying an additional .30 per gallon of gas.
- Not only is driving sensible safer for you, and others it can actually lower your gas mileage by 33% at highway speeds!
- Avoid keeping heavy items in your vehicle. For ever 100 pounds kept in your vehicle it will decrease MPG by 2%.
- Getting your vehicle tuned regularly can reduce your emissions and increase your gas mileage by 4%.
- Getting rid of your clogged filter on a regular basis will help you keep out any impurities that could damage the inside of your engine. Not only that you will increase your gas mileage by 10%.
So you can see that there are quite a few things to know about increasing your gas mileage, and my focus tends to be on oil additives (though I am currently using one right now and am saving over $288 a year!)
An oil additive I is a must have, or at least thats what I think. As it is excellent in increasing your gas mileage, and also some guarantee that if for any reason you are not satisfied they will fully refund your money. (Remember an oil additive can increase your gas mileage by 10%)
You do need to be careful, and do your research. There are many products out there claiming “they work”. Here are 3 things you need to look for before getting one.

There is a lot of hype going on about using an oil additive. You hear people say they work and other who say they dont. Well the truth in the matter is that they do work… Well, at least some of them do. There are 3 major things in my opinion that you want to look for when choosing an oil additive.
1. Make sure the product has had testing done and shows positive results. (There is no harmful effects to the engine in the long term)
2. That the product has documentation
3. The product has been SEO approved. Its expensive to have done that is why most companies/products have not done. This is what truckers look for. Because only a small amount of oil additives that go through the testing unless they work they wont pass.
I recommend using purrrform. I have checked out this product and its legit. It has all three checkmarks. I checked it out got some for myself I increased my

Does acetone increase your gas mileage or increase your MPG? Does acetone harm your engine? Where can you get acetone and how do you use it? This is an acetone test I performed on my 2008 Ford Ranger over the course of the last 3 months and 10,000 miles. To date, I have seen no negative effects, only positive ones. My truck’s fuel consumption dropped, and is now averaging just over 31 MPG according to my new scangauge! The EPA stickers on my car showed a MPG rating of 21 city/26 hwy, so I’ve made some huge improvements, and increased my cars fuel economy by about 32%. If I can do it so can you, watch the video, or visit my website to learn how. www.vonHypermiler.com

Ive looked for a good oil additive for a long time ive finally found one!
With the way the economy is right now gas prices are out the roof! I don’t know about all you rich folks, but us poor people can not afford spending $200 a week on gas. (lol joke) I have heard so many good and bad things about using an oil additive. Finally I decided to get some and see what works and does not work. After trial and error I have found there is only a few that actually do work, and will help to improve your gas mileage.
The best oil additive I found was purrrform. It helped increase my gas mileage 5 extra miles per gallon which is a 12% savings for me. There were a couple of others that worked the same, but did not last as many miles. Most oil additives that I have reviewed you have to replace every time you get an oil change. The one that I found you only have to replace every 10-12 thousand miles you drive.
